Phoenixville Residents Receive Alumni Awards from Harcum College

At Harcum College's Homecoming on Saturday, October 13, Phoenixville residents Ann Caulfield and Susan Doebling were recognized for their professional and personal achievements with Harcum's Outstanding Alumna Awards.

A 1982 graduate, Ann Caulfield, is currently head of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University’s veterinary school and was certified as a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist and a Veterinary Acupuncturist at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.

Susan Doebling, ’92, has become an integral part-time faculty member for both the Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs at Harcum College. She also regularly volunteers for Harcum’s Sealant Saturday, an annual event offering free oral examinations, sealants, fluoride treatments and health care instructions for children ages 6-13.

This year’s alumni awards luncheon had the higher attendance in the College’s recent history, with over 86 alumni, family members and friends joining in the celebration.
