Drunken Driver Hits Mowere Bridge, Police Say

East Pikeland Police are still looking for the person who gave the man a ride home.

The following incidents were reported by the East Pikeland Police Department. Arrest, when mentioned, does not suggest conviction.

Bridge Crash

On Wednesday at about 11:45 p.m., East Pikeland Police charged a 48-year-old Phoenixville man with DUI after the department says he crashed into a bridge on Mowere Road. After striking the bridge, the driver was given a ride home by a passerby, according to police.

The department is attempting to find the driver of the vehicle who gave him a ride. Police say they don’t want to charge the driver, only to speak with him or her. Anyone with information can contact East Pikeland Police at 610-935-0606.

Bring back Lynn. She gave us the facts, 24/7. I often wondered just when she slept.
Even kept us up to day with Borough Council Meetings Seems like the Patch is going the way of the Phoenix. Just getting worse all the time.

If the man was arrested after hitting the bridge, wouldn't he be getting a ride home from the police station?
