Gunman Pleads Guilty to Murder of Phoenixville Man
Selvin Mamerto Lopez-Mauricio was shot and killed on Sept. 14, 2011.
Saleem Williams, the 21-year-old Delaware County man accused of pulling the trigger in the September 2011 shooting death of a Phoenixville fast food employee, pleaded guilty on Monday morning, the Times Herald is reporting.
Williams admitted to the homicide, as well as to hatching a plot to escape from Chester County Prison with two other inmates, the paper is reporting. He was sentenced to 40 to 80 years in state prison for his crimes.
On Sept. 14, 2011, Williams shot Selvin Mamerto Lopez-Mauricio, 22, of the 100 block of Prospect Street, in the chest at close range during an attempted robbery in the borough. Lopez-Mauricio, who was walking home from his job at Wendy’s at the time of the attack, was pronounced dead at Phoenixville Hospital later that morning.

Saleem I. Williams took a plea agreement with Deputy District Attorney Peter Hobart to avoid the first-degree murder and second-degree murder charges.
Williams plead guilty and received a total sentence of 40-to-80 years in state prison:
20-to-40 years for third-degree murder
10-to-20 years for conspiracy to commit robbery
3½ to 7 years for conspiracy to commit attempted escape
6½ to 13 years for some combination of: illegal possession of a firearm, possession of instruments of a crime, possession of marijuana.
Stephen Alan Reidler plead guilty to third-degree murder and conspiracy to commit robbery to avoid the first-degree and second-degree murder charges. Reidler was sentenced to 20-to-40 years in state prison. Reidler had previously agreed to cooperate against Monique Robinson and Saleem I. Williams. No word on his arrest for burglary of fentanyl patches and 30 oxycodone pills.
Monique Robinson's trial begins April 1. Testimony was presented indicating that Robinson not only supplied the semi-automatic handgun to Williams, but gave the order to Wiliams to shoot Selvin Mamerto Lopez-Mauricio, so she should get more than 20-to-40 years in state prison. Robinson also went on the lam to avoid arrest.

I do not know who you are but I will tell you who I am. My name is Jose Parra who is the one that has been going with the family to all the hearings and is a representative of the family. It is true that they broke down the sentence but this is only if he does cooperate with the case correctly. The agreement called a plea bargain is not finalized until the trail of Monique Robinson finishes. He was originally going to recieve a life sentence but the family and myself agreed to him getting this preliminiary deal for now as long as the truth is what he says it is. As for Stephen Reidler the sentence is not finalized also until he does his testimony at the Monique Robinson case has been done correctly. If he does not cooperate with the Da's office then he will recieve another 20 years in prison addition to what he has if he does not tell the truth. The 20 years additional will come from the burglary charges. So please try and not tell the story unless it is accurate like I am saying it. I also will let you know that the trial of Monique Robinson may take place on April 1 but there is no certainty yet if the defense will ask for a continuance on the matter being that the defense now knows that there is two witnesses that were involved in this act of an Hispanic losing his life. I cannot amke anymore comments then that about this case.
