Meet the Cutest Couple in Phoenixville
Emelie and Chris, now raising four kids in the borough, shared their first kiss at 16.
Phoenixville, you chose a fine pair.
Emelie and Chris, the cutest couple in the borough by the vote of Phoenixville Patch’s very discerning readers, have been together longer than they’ve been apart.
The Main Line kids met at their minister’s house in Bryn Mawr when they were both 14, shared their first kiss two years later, and after eight years of romance—briefly interrupted by a hasty breakup Emelie initiated during her freshman year of college—the pair wed in June of 1999.
They’ve since settled in the borough, where they’re raising their four children, the youngest of whom is nine-months-old, and enjoying all that Phoenixville has to offer.
“We love living here,” Emelie said over the phone earlier this week. “We walk into town all the time. I know everybody says it, but we really love Phoenixville. We think it’s terrific.”
Though the pair fell just short in the voting for the regional award this week, I think we can all agree it wasn't for lack of cuteness.

And we can say "we knew you when...."! This is really cute. Hope you both are doing great. I still think about our days in England with fondness. That really was a special time. Seems like a lifetime ago!!
