Phoenixville Police Report Nutt Road Hit-and-Run

The department says the man who fled the scene has a suspended drivers' license.

A Phoenixville man faces charges after police say he rear-ended a car on Nutt Road last week and fled the scene.

Alexes Gamaliel Flores, 43, was charged with driving with a suspended license and accident involving damage to an attended vehicle in connection with the December 16 incident.

According to court documents, Flores, driving a green Ford Explorer, rear-ended another vehicle on the corner of Nutt Road and 113 at 1:07 p.m. before pulling through the parking lot of the Phoenixville Plaza shopping center and leaving the scene.

The driver of the vehicle he allegedly hit called Phoenixville Police, who tracked Flores down in the rear of Advanced Auto Parts.

Flores faces preliminary hearing on January 24.
