Police Blotter: Heroin Stash, Grinch Steals Christmas, Man Shot
The following incidents were reported by Phoenixville, East Pikeland, and state police.
These incidents occurred in and around the Phoenixville area. Arrest does not suggest conviction.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the left leg at 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 22.

Lower Providence Police reportedly found heroin named ‘007’ in a motorist’s vehicle, after a traffic stop.
Police: Alleged Assault Victim Harassed Perpetrator
State police say the woman sent aggressive text messages to a man who struck her on November 24.

Police blotter items should not lead Patch's email notices. Police blotter items--the antithesis of initiative journalism, are pickings for the lazy. Police blotter items are anything-but-subtle sensationalist offerings, especially when placed as the lead category of what otherwise might pass for news.

The blotters are the best part of patch. Im pretty sure most people agree with that. So it would be stupid not to send email notices about these.
