Sock Drive Saturday at the Phoenixville Winter Farmers' Market
Bring some new socks that will go to a good cause.

This Valentine's Day, do something that will warm your heart and help the homeless this winter.
In honor of National Socks for the Homeless Day (Feb. 14), we hope you will come out and see us at the Winter Market at the Phoenixville Farmers' Market tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to noon.
In November, the Phoenixville community came together and donated over 700 pairs of socks and $100 to The Joy of Sox. Let's see if we can't at least repeat that success and share some warmth with our homeless brothers and sisters this winter. This is a dangerous time of year as the temperatures drop steeply and windy and wet weather pose health risks for the homeless. Please note that our local Good Samaritan Shelter is a recipient of The Joy of Sox, so your support is critical!
The Joy of Sox does not have the facilities to clean and store even gently used socks, so please donate only new socks with tags. The best bet are the thick, white crew socks that are usually sold in multi-packs.
The Joy of Sox is a 501(c)(3) organization that has a simple mission: to provide socks for the homeless. They also strive to raise awareness of the plight of the homeless and the health problems that can be mitigated by something as basic as a pair of new socks.
