After decades of planning and nearly two years of construction, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission opened a new interchange in East Whiteland Township on Tuesday.
Governor Corbett was joined by other dignitaries and the media for the ribbon-cutting ceremony in the afternoon.
The new interchange, which connects to Route 29 in the northeastern tip of East Whiteland Township, is the first all-access interchange to open on the turnpike in decades.

No offense, but it would be nice to know where on 29 this is at. I know it's the "northeastern tip of East Whiteland Township"...but could you be a little more specific? Thanks

It is just north of the Great Valley Parkway where the former Boat House restaurant and current 29 restaurant is. There is a new traffic light there. Make sure you have EZ Pass. That is the only way to use the interchange.
