The Phoenixville High School sports scene will have a pair of new faces in prominent roles this season, as Alejandro Franco has taken the helm of the boys soccer team while Daniel Weinstein will lead the swimming program, The Mercury is reporting. Franco, who grew up playing soccer in Columbia and didn’t come to America until he was 23-years-old, takes over a Phantoms team that went 6-7 last season and finished second in the Frontier Division of the Pioneer Athletic Conference.
