Community Corner

Come Out to Community Day This Saturday

All preparations are in place for the Kiwanis Club Community Day on Saturday, October 5.   On that day Reeves Park will be filled with many vendors selling flea market items, baked goods, seasonal items and food.  In addition, the Kiwanis Club will be selling barbecue chicken dinners.  The dinners cost $10 and include a half of a barbecue chicken, two side dishes, dessert and beverage.

Vendor spaces are still available for a fee of $15 in advance and $20 day of the event.  Those interested in renting a vendor space should contact Mike Speck at 610-933-5499 or Dave Gill at 610-935-1198 to receive a vendor application form.  In addition, interested vendors may download a vendor form from the Kiwanis website:  www.phoenixvillekiwanis.org.  Barbecue chicken tickets may be purchased by contacting Larry Gubanich at 610-935-1383 or by email at lgubanich@comcast.net.  Dinners may also be purchased without a prepaid ticket after 1:30 p.m. on the day of the event.

This year the Kiwanis Club is partnering with Holy Family School.  Proceeds from Community Day will benefit the Kiwanis Club’s children’s programs and the educational programs of Holy Family.
