A Major League Proposal Can Come With a Major Price Tag

PNC Park and Citizens Bank Park are among the cheapest and most expensive ballparks to get engaged, respectively.

Thinking of popping the question soon?

If your vision of the perfect engagement includes a day at the ballpark with a "Will You Marry Me?" on the Jumbotron, it will cost you. But just how much depends on where your team loyalties lie.

The website swimmingly.com recently contacted every Major League Stadium to find out what it costs to get engaged at each.

PNC Park, home of the Pirates, is the cheapest in Major League Baseball, with a cost of $39. For that, you'll get your proposal message displayed on the scoreboard. That's the only so-called proposal package the Pirates offer.

Citizens Bank Park, however, is one of the most expensive Major League ballparks in which to get engaged. It will cost you a cool $450, though for that you get your proposal featured on a live video board, four tickets to the game, a champagne toast and a DVD so you can relive the experience at home.

The most expensive proposal in Major League Baseball? Getting down on one knee live on the video board at Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium. That will set you back $2,500.

Of course, no one's stopping you if you want to slip a ring in your pocket and propose during the seventh-inning stretch without the hype.

Would you pay big bucks for a Major League Proposal?
