Celebrate Caturday and Sunday at a Local CFA Cat Show

It's a purr-fect way to spend the stormy weekend.

This weekend offers the opportunity to visit a Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) cat show presented by the William Penn and European Burmese Cat Clubs.   

More than 225 pedigreed and household cats are entered, representing 42 breeds. Cat rescue groups such at Cat Angel Network will be on hand with information about adopting a new family member and more than 20 vendors will be purveying all manner of kitty wares.

Ambassador cats will be in attendance, ready to be petted and admired. Visitors will have the opportunity to view all-breed, specialty, and household pet cats in the professionally judged event, taking place on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 27 and 28, at the Oaks Expo Center.  

The show will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for children 4-12; children 3 and under are admitted free.
