Chester County Grand Prix Races into Phoenixville

Chester County Grand Prix cycling series brings competition and fun to Phoenixville.


Some of the best cyclists on the circuit raced through downtown Phoenixville as hundreds of cycling fans and families cheered them on.

The Chester County Grand Prix series returned Thursday evening for a second year of bike racing on a course set up down Bridge Street, up Starr to Church Street down to Gay Street and back around in front of the Colonial Theater.

Adam Farabaugh won his second race in a row in the series with Andreas Graf seoncd and Robin Carpenter of Manayunk taking third place in the 40 mile pro race.

There are two more races in the series, Friday night in Oxford and Saturday in Kennett Square.
