Kiwanis Children's Plaza Summer Program

The Kiwanis are sponsoring a variety of children's entertainers and programs every Saturday morning through September 10. The schedule is as follows:

June 18      Mike Schuler—guitar, upbeat kids music, tambourines, maracas

June 25   Miss Maggie Sings—singing, percussion, peos and stories

July   2       Pokie-Poke the Jongleur—music, juggling, balloon hats, etc.

July   9    Sidetracked—costumed storytellers

July 16   Kenzie Starr—clowning, face painting, hula hoop

July 23   Philadelphia Zoo—who's who at the Zoo - live animals

July 30   Miss Linda and Lucy—puppet, finger plays and songs

Aug   6    The Amazing Vindini—juggling, magic, comedy, audience participation

Aug 13    Kenzie Starr—clowning, face painting, hula hoop

Aug 20    Ken Kaplan—storyteller/musician, folk and fairy tales, personal stories

Aug 27       Miss Maggie Sings—singing, percussion, peos and stories

Sept   3       McDonnell Family Circus—magician

Sept   10    Mike Schuler—guitar, upbeat kids music, tambourines, maracas

There is a parking lot behind the Children's Plaza with an entrance off Main Street. You will need quarters (no bills) or a credit card to pay at the central station kiosk. There is also free on-street parking on Bridge Street near the plaza with a two-hour limit.

Performances will be held at the Phoenixville Art Center, 207 Bridge Street, in the event of rain.
