Road Closures For Thursday's Bike Races in Phoenixville

Everything you need to know about traffic whether you're going to the races or trying to drive around the road closures.

There has been a little bit of confusion about which roads will be closed when for Thursday's Grand Prix bike races in Downtown Phoenixville and several Patch readers have asked what's being closed when.

Here's the Plan for Road Closures on Thursday

According to the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce:

  • Traffic restrictions will begin in the 100 Block of Starr Avenue at 2 p.m.
  • All other traffic restrictions in the area will begin at 4 p.m.
  • The race course is bounded by Bridge and Church streets and by Starr and Gay Streets.
  • For safety, there will be NO PARKING on the course from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Residents or Businesses who live or park within the boundaries of the course may still drive their cars out of the course at designated course crossing areas. There will be marshals directing cars across the course at Prospect St and Gay St.
