Kiwanis Club Announces Duck Race Results

The Kiwanis Club will utilize the profits from this event to support their ongoing programs for children and youth in the Phoenixville area.

The Kiwanis Club of Phoenixville is pleased to announce the results of the Duck Race which was held recently in conjunction with the Blob Fest.

The Kiwanis Club will utilize the profits from this event to support their ongoing programs for children and youth in the Phoenixville area.

In addition, the Kiwanis Club always offers other organizations the opportunity to sell Duck Race tickets and keep 50% of the ticket cost as a fundraiser for their group.  Organizations which participated included:  Our Path, the Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area, St. Basil’s Church, Time Bank, Gingerbread House, Kimberton Lions Club, Stepping Stone Education Center, the Phoenixville Library, West End Fire Company, the Main Line Kiwanis Club, the Aktion Club, the Phoenixville Senior Center, Barkley Elementary K-Kids, the Phoenixville Area Learning Center, Soroptomist Club, Purple Perk (PAHS Library), Phoenixville Tennis Team and East Pikeland Elementary K-Kids.

The Kiwanis Club wishes to thank everyone who supported this event by purchasing tickets.  In addition, special thanks go to Barto Pools for sponsoring the printing of the tickets and for allowing the club the use of their pool as the “swimming hole” from which the winning ducks were pulled.
