Kiwanis Club Hosting Live Auction to Benefit Senior Center

The evening's dinner was donated by Franco Ristorante.

The following release was submitted by the Kiwanis Club of Phoenixville.

The Kiwanis Club of Phoenixville is holding a Live/Silent Auction and Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, March 9 at the Covered Bridge Room of the Kimberton Fire Company.  Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:00.  Silent auction tables will be open from 6:30 to 8:30.  The live auction will begin following dinner.  The event will conclude at 9:00 p.m.  Food for the dinner is being donated by Franco Ristorante of Phoenixville.  Dinner includes spaghetti and meatballs, salad, rolls and butter, desserts and beverages.

The Kiwanis Club is partnering with the Phoenixville Senior Center for this event.  All proceeds will be split between the two groups.  The Phoenixville Area Senior Center exists to serve, support and enhance the lives of all senior citizens, 60 years of age and older, by providing opportunities in the way of programs and activities designed to promote active, independent, healthy lifestyles.  They fill a tremendous need in our community.  Unfortunately, they have experienced severe funding cuts which threaten their ability to continue to offer a full range of programming.  The Kiwanis Club is honored to be partnering with this very worthwhile organization.
