Pa. Gas Prices Up 18 Cents From Last Month

The current national average is $3.667 per gallon.

The cost of a gallon of self-service gas in Pennsylvania is up an average of 18 cents over last month.

A gallon of gas costs an average of $3.809 in the state, up 3.7 cents from last week, according to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report. That's also up 36.3 cents over the same week in 2013.

The AAA Fuel Gauge Report breaks out the specific markets of the Lehigh Valley and the Philadelphia area.

In the Lehigh Valley, the average price for a gallon of self-serve was $3.768, the same as last week. However, the average is up 15.4 cents over last month and 34.9 cents over last year.

In Philadelphia, the average price per gallon was $3.778, 0.3 cents lower than last week. (Fill up the tank!) But still 12.6 cents higher than last month and 31.3 cents higher than last year.

The current national average is $3.667 per gallon.
