Phoenixville Food Truck Festival is Saturday

The event kicks off restaurant week.

Come hungry -- the first-ever Phoenixville Food Truck Festival begins at noon Saturday.

At least 13 food trucks are expected, event organizers said. Main Street will be closed between Church and Bridge streets for vending space, and trucks also will be parked on Bridge Street.

As many as 10,000 people are expected at the event.

Nine savory trucks are scheduled:
Ka'Chi
Lulu's Cafe on the Go
Hillbilly BBQ
GiGi & Big R
The Sunflower Truck Stop
Mr. D's
Sum Pig Food Truck
The Surf and Turf Truck
Pbon's Fresh Phood

Four sweet trucks are scheduled:
Jimmie's Cupcake Company
Little Baby's Ice Cream
Mom Pops
Underground Donuts

Made in the Shade Lemonade and Susie's Sweets Bakery are also scheduled.

The event is expected to last from noon to 6 p.m.
