PHOTO GALLERY: Snow Geese in Flight

Patch reader Pam Hartman of Lederach spotted these beautiful snow geese on Sunday in Harleysville.

In her email to Patch, Ms. Hartman wrote: "According to the PA Game News, Snow Geese often stop in SE PA on return to Canada from their winter haven in MD and the Virginias, but seeing them in Harleysville made running an errand extra special.  If readers are interested in seeing more Snow Geese, the Middle Creek Wildlife Center just past Reading, PA in Kleinfeltersville (off Rt. 422) gets thousands of Snow Geese each year in Feb and early March, and also hundreds of trumpeter swans.  They have a well rated visitor center (on TripAdvisor) and excellent trails for viewing waterfowl on Middle Creek’s lake.  What a great family outing to beat cabin fever next weekend, after the snow that is!"

Have you seen any snow geese this winter?
