Route 23 To Be Closed For Resurfacing

Aqua Pennsylvania will close Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Country Club Lane and Valley Park Road in Schuylkill Township, Chester County, beginning July 10 for resurfacing, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced. Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) will be closed weeknights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through July 24.

During the operation, Aqua Pennsylvania will detour Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) through traffic over Country Club Lane and Valley Park Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
