Sandusky's Wife to Speak Out for First Time

There has long been speculation about what Dottie Sandusky did or did not know about her husband's crimes.

The wife of convicted child molestor Jerry Sundusky is speaking out for the first time since her husband's arrest and conviction.

Matt Lauer interviewed Dottie Sandusky in a pre-recorded interview that will air Wednesday on the Today show.

Jerry Sandusky, a former assistant coach at Penn State, was convicted in June 2012 of 45 counts of child sexual abuse, and is serving 30 to 60 years in state prison.

There has long been speculation about what Dottie Sandusky did or did not know about her husband's crimes. Melinda Henneberger asked in Washington Post story around the time of Jerry Sandusky's conviction, "Does Dottie Sandusky deserve a jail cell of her own?"

The Today show says Dottie Sandusky will respond to those statements and allegations in the interview.
