Storm Will Hit South, East of Us

Snowfall predictions for the area have been lowered.

Snowfall projections have been revised once again, and Tuesday's storm is now predicted to hit farther south and east of us, the National Weather Service said.

Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties will all receive 1 to 2 inches of snow, the NWS said, while Bucks, Lehigh and Northampton counties will get less than an inch.

Much of Delaware and the Jersey Shore will see between 2 and 4 inches, the NWS said.

"Snow accumulations during the day (Tuesday) should be limited as temperatures rise above freezing and the precipitation intensity is light," the NWS said.

Strong winds with gusts of up to 30 mph are still expected, particularly on Wednesday, the NWS said.
