“A Fall Mix of Gospel and Art”

 Looking for a Friday night out….A date night?  Or just want to mingle with new people and look or purchase some good art work….

 This Silent Art Auction will showcase over 50 various items such as paintings, sculptures and jewels for which a reserved minimal bid will be give.  (This bid can vary from $30 to $ 400.)   Every participant can bid as often as he or she wishes, the amount of the bid being always left to the discretion of the bidder.  Bids will be accepted during this two day event and closing bids will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2011.

  Many of the talented artists are from the Heart of Truth Ministries congregation as well as other local artist.  The Pastor of Heart of Truth Ministries The  Reverend Ruth A. Jordan is a well known portrait artist in the local area and her work will also be available for bidding and sales.  Pastor Jordan’s work has been displayed at Montgomery County Community College (“The Wall of Hereoes”) and throughout Philadelphia, New Jersey and Michigan.

Also accompanying this color event will be various gospel singers, poets, and musicians along with free  served hor’doevures.  This event will benefit the educational and outreach events that Heart of Truth Ministries sponsors throughout the  year such as “Backpacking and Snacking” Motivating Children Initiative, Woman 2 Woman Initiative which bi-monthly hosts events for women in transitional situations, and Helping Hearts and Helping Hands Initiative that helps sponsor Christmas and Thanksgiving for families in need of financial support.
