Bi-Textual Writers Series at Ursinus College

The Creative Writing Division of the Ursinus English Department presents the 2012 Bi-Textual Writers Series, featuring three writers who work in multiple genres.

Jacqueline Jones LaMon will read from her work and sign her books Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. in Pfahler auditorium.

She is the author of two collections, Last Seen, a Felix Pollak Poetry Prize selection, and Gravity, U.S.A., recipient of the Quercus Review Press Poetry Series Book Award; and the novel In the Arms of One Who Loves Me. A finalist for the 2012 NAACP Image Award in the category of Outstanding Literature: Poetry, she lives in New York City and teaches at Adelphi University. Her website is www.jacquelinejoneslamon.com.

Additional writers scheduled are Linh Dinh, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. in Bomberger Auditorium. Dinh is a Vietnamese-American poet, fiction writer, translator and photographer.

Also, Nadine Patterson, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. in Pfahler auditorium. She is an award-winning independent producer/director with training in theater.
