Exhibit Opening - Historical Society

Phoenixville Federal Bank is celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year!

In honor of this hometown favorite, The Historical Society of The Phoenixville Area has created an exhibit to bring everyone down memory lane. The “Grand Opening” is First Friday August 3rd, from 6 PM to 10 PM. See classic bank photos and collectables that reflect Phoenixville’s yesteryears, and hear stories about working at this institution that helped so many Phoenixville residents save their pennies to buy their first homes or open a local business. In 1953 the bank relocated its office to the current location at the corner of Main and Hall Streets, which boasted the first drive-thru banking window in the Phoenixville area. Since that time, it has become a real community focal point. Celebrate and remember the good ole’ days at the HSPA Museum on the corner of Main and Church, right around the corner from the bank that helped the kiddies save their pennies and their parents invest with trust. Exhibit runs through October.

As well as First Friday, the museum is open from 9 AM to 3 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays and on the first Sunday of the month from 1PM to 4PM.
