Group exhibit – 10 local artists

December 8-10, 2011, opening reception  December 8, 2011 5-9pm, also open Friday December 9, 5-9pm and Saturday December 10, 10am-9pm during the Phoenixville Firebird Festival.

 The PHX ART GALLERY is a “pop up” (temporary) art gallery presented in the space left by the former Print Shop on 240 Bridge Street, Phoenixville PA. The gallery is a collaboration of 10 artists from Chester County and surrounding area.

Artists represented in this exhibition including Maryanne Buschini, Jessica Puma, David Knoeklein, Tania O’Donnell, Martha Parrish Bush, Sarah Robb, Veronica Batter, Colleen McCarthy, Michael Moore, and  Kai Pedersen.  The selection of art includes two dimensional work can include pencil, oil, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, photography, prints, which will be on display.  All work is for sale.

Subject matter includes a wide variety of two dimensional work, including representational work such as still lifes, landscape,  figurative work; along with nonrepresentational and abstract work, mixed media collages, and photography. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Firebird Festival and Phoenixville Area Community Services.

The gallery will be open for three days: gallery opening Thursday December 8, 2011 from 5-9pm; Friday December 9 from 5-9pm; Saturday 10am-9pm, during the Phoenixville Firebird Festival on Saturday December 10.  All are welcome
