The Chester County Historical Society in West Chester will host a “Take Me Back Concert” featuring Big G And The Cool Cats on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 7:00PM. This thirteen member horn band will be performing the great songs of the ‘60s and ‘70s with a special tribute to the greatest Horn Bands in the U.S.A., Chicago and Blood Sweat And Tears. Also, four vocalists will be singing Motown favorites like “I Heard It through the Grape Vine”, “Domino”, “Mustang Sally” , “Natural Woman”, “Respect” and who can forget Elvis during his Las Vegas days. So come on out and enjoy this great music. Admission is $8.00 for members of the Chester County Historical Society or $10.00 for nonmembers. Tickets are available at the Historical Society and Taylor’s Music Store, 116 W. Gay St, West Chester or at the door. The Historical Society is located on 225 N. High Street in West Chester. .
