Ursinus College Choir and Meistersingers to Perform

The Ursinus College Choir and the Meistersingers will present a concert on Sunday, April 22, at 4 p.m. in Bomberger Auditorium as part of the events celebrating the inauguration of Bobby Fong. The event is free and open to the public. No tickets or reservations are required.

Conducted by John French, who is Chair of the Music Department and holder of the William F. Heefner Chair of Music at Ursinus, the program will feature the music of Vaughn Williams, including The Serenade to Music and The Five Mystical Songs. Organ accompaniment will be provided by Alan Morrison, who is Chairman of the Organ Department at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, Adjunct Assistant Professor at Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton, N.J., as well as organist at Ursinus College.
