Seinfeld Borrows Pa. Man's Classic Car

Jerry Seinfeld was looking for a classic car for use in his online show "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee."

When Jerry Seinfeld calls, do you answer?

For one Pennsylvania man, the answer was a resounding yes.

Seinfeld was looking for a classic car for use in his online show "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," The Philadelphia Inquirer said.

Scott Drab of Irwin collects classic cars, and he has in his collection the very one Seinfeld was looking for -- a 1967 Jaguar Mark II.

“Jerry Seinfeld likes green, and he wants your car, and I said OK, terrific, when do we go?” Drab told KDKA.

Seinfeld sent a truck, and the car was picked up at Drab's home in Westmoreland County, KDKA said. The car was returned to Drab four days later in identical condition -- save the handwritten note in the glove box from Seinfeld thanking Drab.

The car was used in an episode featuring comedian Robert Klein, the Inquirer said. The episode will debut Thursday at noon; you can see it here.
