Thousands Watch as The Yellow Brick Road Leads to Shannondale

The King of Prussia Players packs 'em in on closing weekend and sets auditions for next musical.


The King of Prussia Players packed 'em in for the closing weekend of the non-profit community theater's production of Wizard of Oz.

The company draws actors from all over the region, including Phoenixville.

More than 1500 people saw this lavish production of the Wizard of Oz featuring Alexis Milne as Dorothy and Tricia Lawlor Beichner as Glinda the Good Witch. 

King of Prussia Players is a non-profit community theatre founded in 1956. The company is based in King of Prussia and  welcomes new members including actors,  artists, backstage helpers, volunteers, and arts lovers. 

The King of Prussia Players is holding auditions for its fall musical Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Audition Detials:

July 29, 30, 31 from 6:45 to 9:30.
Auditioners will be seen in small groups scheduled every 20 minutes. All auditions are at the Upper Merion Area Middle School auditorium at 450 Keebler Road in King of Prussia. Callbacks will be August 1, by invitation only.   If you want to audition but cannot make the date/times =

The Music Man performance dates and times are: 
November 8th, 14th, 15th, 2013 at 7:30 PM.
November 9th, 16th performances at 2 PM.
