Flu help

The flu is early and impacting many. Here is some help from a holistic perspective...

The flu is a month early and hitting people hard. Here is a bit of help passed on from my environmental doctor to help your immune system.   Remember to check with your doctor and keep plenty of fluids into your system as much as you can keep down.

ZAC Therapy for prevention and treatment of acute infections and to diminish acute allergies.  For adults (Check with your doctor to see if this will work with your specific health concerns.)

Other ideas:

From a holistic perspective the body produces a fever to burn out the virus.  Bringing the temperature down is counter productive to the body's natural healing method.

Chicken soup has healing power providing the muscles nutrients needed to repair some damage.

If sick, don't spread it to other; stay home until no fever without medications.  Follow other common sense rules such as sneezing into your sleeve and washing your hands.

Remember get plenty of rest; don't overdo your exercise program.  Try to do at least some stretching or mild wallking to get back into the groove when your body is up to it.

I also recommend a Reiki session when you are ready to return to work.  It can help the body feel better and help it wrap up the final stages of the flu.

Also the way the immune system works is a dip in 14 and 21 days from when the initial hit happens.  To best help your immune system makes these days light avoiding high stress to your body or mind - such as major tests or races.  If you can do a day of bed rest especially on day 21 you will help your immune system.
