A Hole New Dunkin' Donuts In Phoenixville

Shop is giving away some big prize giveaways during a grand opening celebration Saturday.

It's across the street and just down a couple of blocks from the Dunkin' Donuts that served the area for 40 years but it is a world apart.

The new Phoenixville Dunkin' Donuts at Nutt Road and Gay Street opened over the weekend with seating areas, wifi, USB charging power outlets and oh yeah, doughnuts coffee and the full DD menu.

The store is bright, roomy and features seating areas with traditional tables but also comfy chairs around tables and and a high top table that seats eight. It also has a drive through window that is open 24/7.

Store owner Ed Takiedine says an official grand opening will be Saturday from 10 a.m.-12 noon. The store will be giving away a big screen TV, a samsung tablet computer, Dunkin' Donut gift cards and more. He says that you must be present to win one of the prizes during the prize drawing.

In addition to the prizes a fire truck will be bringing Santa, there will face painting, balloons and face painting for the kids and an appearance by retiring Phoenixville Mayor Scoda.

The former store will be vacated by he end of the month. In answer to a Patch reader's question Takiedine says he does not know if the building landlord had a new tenant lined up yet.
