A Sure Sign Summer's Coming to Phoenixville

April showers don't stop crews from posting a sign that a rite of spring and summer is coming this weekend.

Nothing says warm spring and summer weather like First Fridays in Phoenixville.

A sure sign of the season sprung up on the grass along Bridge Street at the end of Starr St/PA 29 as a crew lit up the portable sign announcing that "First Friday is Back!! May 3"

Yay, even more drunks in town!

Actually the "First Fridays" attract more families going out to eat and shop than your standard weekend party crowd (i.e. drunks). In fact, 1st Fridays are what keeps the non alcohol/food businesses afloat as it is one of the rare times there is actual foot traffic in town. In closing, take your Obama remorse and get lost. Leave Phoenixville. In fact, since you hate our twice elected President so much, go to West Chester, get a passport and leave the Country altogther. I'm sure nobody will miss you. Have a nice morning.

Wow APR, I think we're on the same page here. First Friday's bring families into the town and do create a lot of volume for the businesses downtown. Obama Remorse sounds like one of the old timers that is just pissed that the Phoenix Tavern or Khon's closed. Don't worry Obama Remorse you still have The Prima. Chow baby!
