Dominic’s Ristorante Italiano Opens this Week

The new restaurant brings Italian flavor to Bridge Street.

*An earlier version of this story identified John Mims as co-owner of Dominic's. Despite reports in the Philly.com and elsewhere that Mims was a partner, he, according to Dominic's marketing manager Ashley Croft, has nothing to do with the restaurant. It's unclear how the rumor of Mims involvement began. John Mims has declined to comment on the story. We regret this error.

Dominic’s Ristorante Italiano opens Wednesday in downtown Phoenixville.

The BYOB, located at the 150-152 Bridge Street site that once housed Daddy Mims, is owned Dominic Tammaro and will be managed by his daughter Liz Tihansky.

According to Philly.com, the new Italian restaurant will be "decorated like an old church" and will specialize in pasta dishes.

The new restaurant looks to boast a tasty and diverse menu. Entrees range in price from $18 to $27 and, according to Dominic’s website, include Pollo Sorentina (chicken cutlet topped with eggplant, basil, and mozzarella), Bistecca alla Fiorentina (T-bone steak), Tilapia Calabrese (broiled tilapia with roasted tomato and spices) and much more.
