Forge Theatre Brings Li'l Abner to the Stage

The show will premier on November 9.

Al Capp’s classic comic strip characters step off the the funny pages onto the Forge Theatre stage in Li’l Abner from November 9 through December 1. The show features the great musical theatre toe-tappers, Jubilation T. Cornpone, If I Had My Druthers, Progress is the Root of All Evil, The Matrimonial Stomp, and more!  A Tony Award winner, the show features a spirited cast and large production dance numbers.

Production dates are November 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 29, 30, and December 1. Evening performances are at 8 p.m., Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.  Admission is  $15 for adults and $12 for youth under 18.

Lil' Abner is directed by Stevie Taygie and choreographed by Gail Oldfield. Denise Wisneski is musical director. Greg Morton is producer, and Linda Blytone is stage manager.
