Here's something you probably didn't know: Tomorrow, June 3, is National Donut Day. Don't go looking for "Happy Donut Day" greeting cards, but you may want to stop by , where you'll receive a free donut on Friday with a purchase of any beverage.

Here's what the Dunkin' Donuts folks had to say about National Donut Day, which was apparently not their idea:

National Donut Day, held the first Friday of June each year, was originally established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.
