Phoenixville UPS Store Holds Free Shredding Event

Boxes of documents taking over your garage? Get it taken care of for free on April 27.

With tax season now thankfully behind us, the UPS Store in Phoenixville is offering residents an opportunity to shred every last vestige of the stressful time. (Check the IRS list on how long you should keep documents.)

On April 27, UPS Store owner Dan Brady is hosting a free shredding event at his 518 Kimberton Road location. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Iron Mountain, a local information management and document shredding firm, will be at the store to perform an on-site shredding of all the sensitive documents that pile up fast and can be maddeningly difficult to destroy.

At the Saturday event, the first 25 pounds of documents will be shredded free of charge, and anything over and above for just 35 cents a pound.
