Wegmans announced a recall of bagged organic lettuce Friday on concerns it might be contaminated with E Coli bacteria.
The recall includes 5- and 11-ounce bags of 'Feel Good About Organic Spinach & Spring Mix' sold from 10/14/12 to 11/1/12.
The recalled products may be returned to the store for a full refund.

Escherichia coli (abbreviated as E. coli) are a large and diverse group of bacteria. Although most strains of E. coli are harmless, others can make you sick. Some kinds of E. coli can cause diarrhea, while others cause urinary tract infections, respiratory illness and pneumonia, and other illnesses.

Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Organic Spinach & Spring Mix, 5oz - UPC: 77890-16437 - ONLY product sold between 10/14/12 and 11/1/12. Reason for Recall: Wegmans is recalling two sizes of this product, produced by State Garden, because they may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7.
