Health Dept. Releases October Restaurant Inspection Reports

Sal's Pizza Box, Wasko's, Xpress Pizza and Grille, and Phoenixville Middle School were inspected.

The following Phoenixville businesses were inspected by the Chester County Health Department in the month of October. An important caveat: the language of these reports can be misleading, as they often describe potential problems as actual problems. For example, “presence of rodents/insects” could mean there's an infestation, or it might just mean the business in question left a back door open—which could lead to an infestation.

The results of each of the county's 2012 health inspections are available here.

Sal's is the best and oldest pizza shop in town!!! Their food is above expectations...... They are so busy that there food is delivered fresh daily.. So what if their bathroom isn't the best. Go to mcdonalds where it is always fowl smelling and the tile grout it just nasty.

Here's an easy & quick clue I use to gauge these types of places: Check out the windows. Inside and out. Washed & clean? Probably a safe bet. Filthy? Pass. If what you can see is dirty, just think about what you can't see...ewww

There's one place on this list that I love and trust...but I am still surprised they scored so well.
