Coming Soon! Phoenixville Patch Gets a New Look

Next week, Phoenixville Patch will have a new design and a whole new way to connect.

I have some exciting news to share about Patch–we’re getting a whole new look. It’s coming in a couple weeks and it’s going to make Phoenixville Patch easier to use, and a better place to connect and share.  The best part? You’ll be able to see it all on your mobile phone.

Here’s what you need to know:

Our site is being rebuilt from the ground up. The news will look better and be commenting will be easier. And, you’ll find more local voices to keep you in the loop with the latest know-how and opinion.

We’re adding Boards to make it easier for you to connect with each other, debate an issue, or announce your garage sale, graduation, or find a lost pet.

More to say? It will be easier to start your own blog, too. You’ll soon be able to start your own blog anytime, so you can have a stronger voice in the community or just share your expertise and opinion. And if you’re already a Local Voices blogger, you’ll find the tools are much more streamlined and straightforward.

You’ll see all of this (and more) on Patch next week. For a sneak peek, check out Stonington-Mystic Patch.

Obama Remorse you can correct that yourself go to the settings. Muffins , this is a free news site, people are not perfect. I personally like the site and over look things that small , there are other things much bigger to worry about

Where? Don't see it. Under Account Settings, I have Current Password/New Password and under Notification Settings I have Email/Login, which is required. Under Edit Profile I have Name and About Me. Under Notification Settings, I can check and uncheck Patch Newsletters, Unsubscribe from Newsletters, and check and uncheck when someone writes on my Profile board. That's it - nothing about emails when posting comments.

Yawn.... The patch use to be a decent news source, now that they put this new editor on, it has become nearly worthless. The top story is always, "who is the best dad?" or local junkie breaks into car. Hardly worth reading or commenting. The blogs are 75% advertisements by real estate agents and fake "doctors". This "new look" will be nothing more than shining a turd and calling it gold. To prove my point, $50 says this new editor will delete this comment because opposing views are not allowed here anymore. At at least the last guy, Tom something let people express their opinions without censorship. This Bob guy is a Stalin Jr.

there has been a big decrease in the police and fire news from the patch and I think it is by design. but that is what people tune in to read and then the other bull crap for that week. there has been no new police and fire news since may 19 just retread past stories. and then today they post the building collapse. thats big news so but big decrease in the local police reporting

Obama ,there use to be a button when you posted a comment, and before you submit it you could select if you want to be updated on the story and comments . Not sure why its was taken away. sorry about that,
