A benefit for Trey Love on Sunday will help out the Love family and also give you a chance to get out and have some fun. On Sunday, local performers will gather to help with Japan earthquake/tsunami relief, and a Reiki clinic will be held Thursday evening for disaster relief in Japan. Friday also features a Disco Dance Party at the Columbia Bar and Grille to benefit the fireworks fund in Phoenixville. With so many event to choose from you’ll find something where you can let loose but also do some good.

Finally, this weekend is a big one for the Dogwood Festival Committee, which has been busy planning for the 60th anniversary of the festival. The pageant, which is themed “Hollywood Nights” this year, will be held Saturday night at Barkley Elementary.
