Good Samaritan Shelter to receive $1,000 from The Willis Foundation

The donation will be presented on May 23.

The Willis Foundation will be presenting the Good Samaritan Shelter with a check for $1,000 on May 23 at 3:30 p.m. at the shelter’s 141 E. High Street office.

Since 2002 the has been serving the needs of homeless men in the greater Phoenixville area. Today, the organization owns 5 buildings on High St. and provides shelter and services to over 100 men annually.

“We rely on the charitable efforts of the community to support our work. I am grateful that The Willis Foundation has partnered with us in the way,” said Nate Hoffer, Executive Director of the Good Samaritan Shelter.
