Do you know of local moms raising their children in the Tiger Mother's way and is it the best way? Where can we get information on local flu shot clinics for children? How do we talk to our children about big news events? How can we help our children's schools weather their budget cutbacks?

For this week’s question, Phoenixville mom Erin Thomas said: “I have a general question about others’ experience with restaurants. We’ve had some great experiences with the little guy at Daddy Mim’s and the Asian Cafe. I don’t want to bring him to new restaurants because I’m not sure which are kid-friendly. I’d love to know if other parents have brought their little ones out and which restaurants the kids were welcomed at and which they weren’t.”

Here’s what local parents had to say:

“We've taken our 10 month old to Iron Hill Brewery a number of time since he was just a few months old.  They're very family friendly and are happy to accommodate children!” Kathryn Martin, Phoenixville, mom of baby Henry

“We've been welcomed just about everywhere with our 5-year-old and 1-year-old, especially at Iron Hill Brewery and Sly Fox. I appreciate any restaurant that offers something beyond the usual chicken fingers and French fries for kids, because helping the kids expand their palates is one of the benefits of taking them out to eat. Even at Black Lab Bistro, which has no kids' menu, there's always an interesting appetizer for them to try.” Jessica Whelan, East Pikeland, mom of two

“Sly Fox was always very kid friendly.” Brendan Tracy, dad of one
