Meet Radiant Rainee, Our Adoptable Pet of the Week

Rainee fell on some misfortune but shows a ton of affection and loves people.

It’s another featured feline for our rescue pet of the week. Meet Rainee, a black cat who’s had some bad luck. Laura Schwartz of Phoenixville writes:

“Rainee is now a sleek and beautiful kitty, with a luxurious shiny coat, the very picture of health and vitality. But she wasn't always this way.

“Cruelly left behind by her family when they moved, she was a skinny cat who luckily was found by a cat lover while wandering the neighborhood. This angel fostered her until there was an opening with Cat Angel Network. Rainee was accepted into the Cat Angel program and is hopefully on her way to finding a Forever Home of her very own.

"Rainee is a young adult cat, yet she's very petite so she has a perennial kitten look. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves children! Our volunteers adore Rainee and she returns the affection with cuddles, hugs, and sweet, imploring looks for love.

“We don't yet know how she is with other pets, but one thing we know for sure—she loves people! She is spayed, tested negative for FeLV, FIV and heartworm, and is current on required vaccinations.
