Our First Feline Fancies a Forever Family

It's her party, and she'll cry if she wants to.

This week’s Phoenixville Area Rescue Pet of the Week is of the feline variety. We’re happy to announce that last week’s featured pet, Magoo, has been adopted.

Now it’s Hayley’s turn. Here’s the story:

“Hayley is a sweet and slinky striped tabby cat whose first birthday, March 23, is rapidly approaching. But the thought of that milestone birthday is enough to bring tears to her eyes as she doesn't have the one gift that she really wants—a Forever Family of her very own.

“Hayley was one of four kittens and a mama cat found outside and brought to Cat Angel Network. Theirs was one of the lucky stories as space was available at one of Cat Angel's foster homes and they were taken into care. Their foster mother, Laura Schwartz of Phoenixville, told us this little family was one of the nicest she's ever hosted. Their mom was noticeably part-Siamese and her kittens inherited the body type and curiosity of the breed but, thankfully, not the famous voice! Everyone else has already been adopted and she cannot understand why Hayley is still searching for a home.

“Nor can Hayley. She's sweet and playful, loves attention and cuddles, and is always the first on the spot to see what's happening. Raised with three roughhousing brothers, she can hold her own with any cats but prefers to help out at her foster home in caring for even younger kittens. She became a babysitter at the tender age of six months, watching over two infant kittens when mom wasn't around. As you can see from her photos, she's beautiful!

“Hayley would do best in a home with another kitten or young cat as she’s extremely well socialized and would be lonely as an only. She’s up to date on inoculations, has been spayed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you’re searching for a friendly, lifelong companion, you need to meet Hayley. Just think, she could be celebrating her first birthday with you!”
