Phoenixville Club Hosts 'Rockin' Cancer Benefit

Music, drinks and a celebrity guest will be at Club 212 to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

On April 13, Club 212 is inviting Phoenixville to Rock the Cure.

From 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., for a suggested donation of $40 per person, guests will get to enjoy music from "Lost in the Sauce" and "The Champs." Drinks and appetizers will be provided and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

According to the announcement event organizers posted on Phoenixville Patch:

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Dave Chawaga’s fundraising efforts for his Man & Woman of the Year campaign to benefit LLS. He has agreed to conduct his own fundraising campaign. Every dollar he raises counts as one vote. The male and female candidates with the most votes are named the Chapter’s Man & Woman of the Year. Their totals are then considered in naming national titles.

Those that can't attend the event, but would like to make an online donation to the fundraising campaign can do so at http://www.mwoy.org/pages/epa/philly13/dchawaga
