Phoenixville Man Wins Big on 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?'

Alex Cabot appeared on an episode that aired Monday and took home quite a haul.

It's not a million, but $23,800 ain't bad.

Phoenixville's Alex Cabot was a guest on Monday's episode of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and made it up to question number nine before he decided to quit while he was ahead, according to The Phoenix.

The question that stumped him?

"Paul Newman, Susan Sarandon and Gene Hackman starred in a 1998 movie titled what?"

Cabot told the Phoenix he will use the money to refinish his basement. He might also save a few bucks to buy an old VHS of Twilight.

Cabot was the second Phoenixville resident to make an appearance on the long running quiz show.

Good for him. But shouldn't you have contacted him and written your own story, rather than just quoting the story that appeared in The Phoenix?
