I wish there were more positive stories published on the Patch. Our local community is full of great stories and people that deserve the spotlight more than criminal activity and health department reports. I visit this site often hoping something will change but am always disappointed. I know that I'm not the only one who feels this way. What happened??

Journalistic and editorial laziness is what happened.

Tom S, how about a story like this or maybe one about the Springford Girls Basketball team. The site had grown increasingly tiresome with all the perv and druggie stories. All those stories do is fuel the fires of people who have nothing positive to say or do. http://www.pottsmerc.com/article/20130401/NEWS01/130409993/phoenixville-area-high-school-academic-team-heading-to-nationals-in-just-second-year?mobredirect=true
