Power Outages Reported in East Pikeland

PECO said they are still dealing with scattered outages after this morning’s storm left 35,000 without service.

In response to concerns about reported blackouts in East Pikeland Township, a representative from the energy company said the number of customers without power peaked at 6 a.m. and has since shrunk considerably.

“We’re continuing to work nonstop until service to all the customers is restored,” said Liz Williamson, who added that the outages are probably not related to the heat.
